It’s a very bad story, but somehow it was motivating。 Although I am giving it 2。5-3 stars, I would recommend this book。 It’s a fast read - no complex material。 Like all other reviewers, I found the characters and relationships badly developed。 The stuff they were telling each other were awkward。For example, when the entrepreneur and artist were so amazed by Mr。 Ripley and saying to him stuff like “You are kidding me brother, right?” Every time he would do something e。g。 after he said he slept in It’s a very bad story, but somehow it was motivating。 Although I am giving it 2。5-3 stars, I would recommend this book。 It’s a fast read - no complex material。 Like all other reviewers, I found the characters and relationships badly developed。 The stuff they were telling each other were awkward。For example, when the entrepreneur and artist were so amazed by Mr。 Ripley and saying to him stuff like “You are kidding me brother, right?” Every time he would do something e。g。 after he said he slept in his exercise gear。 These methods to trick yourself into getting up are not new。 Many times throughout the book the relationship between the entrepreneur and artist vs Mr。 Ripley were cheesy like that。 It felt like the story behind the “theory” was unnecessary。 However, this is probably how we will remember the theory better。 Do not expect a “Petit Prince” type of morale through a story though。Most of the advice is pretty good especially about avoiding distraction, but some are unrealistic。 For example, getting two 90-minutes massages per week。 I mean。。。。 。。。more

I really liked the concepts shared in this book。 But I didn't like the writing at all。 First 100 pages are a complete waste of time。 The story, ugh, why did it have to be a love story? There's a lot of fluff in the book and I think it can be compressed into a 100-page book。 No wonder it took me 3 months to finish this book。 I really liked the concepts shared in this book。 But I didn't like the writing at all。 First 100 pages are a complete waste of time。 The story, ugh, why did it have to be a love story?

This book was terrible。 While some of the principles might be useful in self improvement, the delivery was so cheesy and horrendous that I could hardly bear to get through the entire book。 It also could have been cut in half by removing the "narrative" used to deliver the methods of self-improvement。 The writing was not good and so distracting that I cannot tell you a single principle the book provided for "elevating your life"。 Would not recommend。 This book was terrible。 While some of the principles might be useful in self improvement, the delivery was so cheesy and horrendous that I could hardly bear to get through the entire book。 It also could have been cut in half by removing the "narrative" used to deliver the methods of self-improvement。 The writing was not good and so distracting that I cannot tell you a single principle the book provided for "elevating your life"。 Would not recommend。 。。。more

A re write of The Alchemist。 With some extra spice。

3。5 stars would probably be what I rate this book。 I have quite conflicting emotions。 Although all the advice and information mentioned are beautiful。 They are stretched out to make a 300 page book even though they could be summarised in 50。 However, at the same time the manner it was written helps one absorb in the information better as it is quite often repeated。 Would I recommend this book? YesI would think however as an Audiobook it would probably be more enjoyable。

One of the rare books I’ll probably read two to three times in my life。 Packed with insight from great leaders and thinkers throughout history。 Not a “self help,” book but an inspirational read for everyone。

The concepts were awesome but the book was the corniest thing I’ve experienced in a long time。 If one more double rainbow or dove came out。。。I swear。

I like the concepts and the idea。 However, I found the love story so cheesy that it made it difficult for me to focus on what's to learn。 I like the concepts and the idea。 However, I found the love story so cheesy that it made it difficult for me to focus on what's to learn。 。。。more

Seriously disappointingI'm sure there's lots of lovely life lessons in here but the way it's written is dreadful。 Terrible story, 2 dimensional annoying characters and a huge focus on wealth and stuff and material success。 Total turn off。 I was really disappointed as heard so much hype about it。 There's really nothing here you can't find in another book Seriously disappointingI'm sure there's lots of lovely life lessons in here but the way it's written is dreadful。 Terrible story, 2 dimensional annoying characters and a huge focus on wealth and stuff and material success。 Total turn off。 I was really disappointed as heard so much hype about it。 There's really nothing here you can't find in another book 。。。more

Get to the point。 Maybe we wouldn’t need to get up at 5am without all the “stories”。

This book will convince you to change your morning routine and maximize your daily achievements。 As normal people we tend to wake up every morning with the annoying sound of our alarms。 We click on snooze and then go back to sleep and the alarm rings again and again and again until we finally wake up。 The first thing we do when we open our eyes is stare at our phone screen, check our emails, WhatsApp messages, scroll a bit on social media apps and let the day takeover。 Robin Sharma teaches us th This book will convince you to change your morning routine and maximize your daily achievements。 As normal people we tend to wake up every morning with the annoying sound of our alarms。 We click on snooze and then go back to sleep and the alarm rings again and again and again until we finally wake up。 The first thing we do when we open our eyes is stare at our phone screen, check our emails, WhatsApp messages, scroll a bit on social media apps and let the day takeover。 Robin Sharma teaches us through his book ‘The 5 AM club’ how adopting an early morning routine will help us reach our goals and maximize our achievements daily。⠀⠀This is the second book that I read for Robin Sharma and he again uses the idea of a fictional story to send his messages to us。 In my opinion he could’ve focused less on the story and more on the main idea which is convincing the reader to develop inner power through daily rituals to get external achievements。 In addition to that the book is too long and I feel like he could’ve reduced the material by balancing between the story and the main point。 。。。more

Important insights and lessons on how to change your daily routine and elevate your performance and overall happiness! A good compilation of knowledge gathered from many cultures as to why waking early is good for your health and well being。 However, the narrative is simply awful! The characters are way to bland and their relationships seem forced and outrageous。 Also, this appalling narrative takes about 70% of the book, making it a cringe-worthy read。
